Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg has grown in self confidence since his Silverstone podium couple of weeks back. It is obvious in the way he walks, the way he talks and the way he interacts with the media. Everything seems to say ‘I am well on the way to becoming a power in Formula One’. Having started the season in the shadow of team mate Michael Schumacher, Rosberg has quickly emerged as a force in his own right. Webber fit and ready to take on McLaren challenge

Lotus confirms more Friday outings for Fauzy

Malaysian driver Fairuz Fauzy will back in the cockpit at Silverstone on Friday as he gets another practice outing for Lotus. Fauzy will also participate in Friday morning sessions at the Hungarian, Singapore and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix.

It follows successful pre-season tests for the 27-year-old from Kuala Lumpur and an impressive appearance for Lotus earlier this year in practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix…

Given their form of late – and the fact they’ll be armed with a heavily-revised McLaren – Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton could well challenge for a one-two at this weekend’s British Grand Prix. Do it and they will become the latest in a long line of British drivers to achieve the feat.
